Berytech has announced the relaunch of the Rural Entrepreneurs in Agri-Food (REAF) Ideathon in its third batch.The event aims to strengthen the socio-economic resilience of individuals within South Mount Lebanon as well  as Central and West Bekaa. This is done through support towards business model viability for startups in agrifood, eco-tourism, sustainable agriculture and circular economy sectors.  The REAF Ideathon will span over three days and will act as a catalyst for entrepreneurs, startups and early  stage Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the aforementioned regions. Participants in the event will tackle  challenges faced in rural communities while offering innovative solutions that drive positive social impact. This  stands as an opportunity for these businesses to refine their concepts, receive expert guidance and present  solutions to a panel of judges.  The winners of the Ideathon will earn a place in the eight month REAF Incubation program. The incubation  program provides mentorship, funding opportunities and tailored business development services to the SMEs. (ICE BEIRUT)
