Retail sales in Kazakhstan up 6.9% in Jan-OctThe volume of retail sales in January-October 2023 grew by 6.9% year over year to reach 14.827 trillion tenge, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.In the reporting period, the trade enterprises increased sales by 10.9% year over year, while the volume of sales by individual sellers edged down by 0.5%.The total stock of the trade organizations stood at 1.537 trillion tenge as at November 1, 2023, which is enough to last for 70 trading days.Food products accounted for 32.4% of all trading volume in January-November 2023, non-food products – 67.6%.
