The South Korean steel-making company POSCO has announced plans to double its production capacity in 2025-2035, including in Poland. According to the latest information, POSCO Mobility Solutions, a subsidiary of POSCO International from POSCO Holdings, is to start the construction of a traction motor core plant in Poland in the first half of 2024, with the plant becoming operational in 2025. According to sources, the South Korean group is considering locations for the plant in Silesia and Lower Silesia, including the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. (ICE VARSAVIA)
