The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that in Q3, 2023 GDP grew by 1.4 % compared to the preceding quarter and by 0.4 % compared to the corresponding period in 2022. Most analysts expected GDP growth at 0.3-0.4 % y/y, indicating that that would be the best result this year so far following GDP declines by 0.3 % y/y and by 0.6 % y/y in Q1 and Q2, 2023 respectively.
