The Council of Minister has adopted a resolution on establishing the government program “National Framework to Support Strategic Semiconductor Investment Projects” for 2024-2026 with a budget of USD1.5bn (ca. PLN6.2bn). The program is aimed at investors that wish to launch major cross-border projects enhancing the competitiveness of the economy, supporting economic growth and creating new specialized jobs. The resolution also notes that the program will help guarantee the security of supply in the European Union as well as strengthen the resilience of the EU semiconductor industry. (ICE VARSAVIA)
