POLAND MAY BECOME 20TH LARGEST ECONOMY
Currently, Poland is classified by the World Bank as a high-income economy, ranking 21st worldwide in terms of GDP at purchasing power parity. Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has recently calculated that in late 2023 Poland’s GDP is expected to exceed USD860bn, which is over USD100bn more than the IMF projected in June this year. If this forecast comes true, Poland will become the 20th largest economy in the world, outstripping Turkey, which is struggling with a soaring inflation. (ICE VARSAVIA)
