ORLEN is considering the construction of a Virtual Power Plant as part of its strategy to digitise its energy segment, which involves implementing a tool to integrate the ORLEN Group’s decentralised energy assets, and now ORLEN has announced a tender procedure in this scope. The aim of the tender is to obtain detailed bids for the execution of a comprehensive business concept, including the implementation and the operation of the facility. At the same time the group underscored that it remained committed to leading the way in energy transition both in Poland and in the region, generating energy from low- and zero-carbon sources.
