The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that at the end of October 2023, the registered unemployment rate was at 5 percent, compared to 5 percent at the end of September 2023 and to 5.1 percent at the end of October 2022. The data compiled by the statistical office also show that at the end of last month, the number of people registered with employment agencies reached 770,400, compared to 776,000 a month earlier. Meanwhile, according to the Labour Force Survey, in Q3 of 2023 the unemployment rate was 2.7 percent, compared to 2.6 percent in the preceding quarter. (ICE VARSAVIA)
