LITHUANIA BANS TRANSIT OF MORE DUAL-USE GOODS

The Lithuanian government recently updated its list of controlled dual-use goods prohibited from being transported overland through the country. This action follows increased exports to third countries, notably Russia and Belarus. Economy and Innovation Minister Aušrinė Armonaitė emphasized efforts to limit the technical capacities of these nations in conducting hostilities in Ukraine. The updated list includes items like machining centers, batteries, and vehicles, crucial in the production of projectiles and military UAVs. The government had previously banned 57 groups of dual-use goods, focusing on products with microelectronic and semiconductor components. (ICE VARSAVIA)
