Sources indicate the bank's representatives visited Vilnius and met with officials from various Lithuanian institutions, considering investment opportunities and office locations. The bank is evaluating between two to three countries for hosting the service center, but Deutsche Bank hasn't officially commented on these plans. President Gitanas Nausėda had discussions in Berlin regarding this potential move, highlighting Lithuania's promising IT sector and untapped market for global business services. Deutsche Bank's recent closure of technology centers in Russia has spurred the decision to open a new technology hub in Berlin, while it has had a technology center in Romania since 2013.
