A survey conducted by Fiserv Polska shows that more and more small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the retail and service sectors engage in e-commerce, with ca. 44 percent of the respondents already providing their services online. Out of these, more than 33 percent do so via their own websites, 8 percent via marketplaces such as Allegro and OLX, and 2 percent via social media platforms. Out of the ca. 56 percent of enterprises that do not engage in e-commerce, 66 percent argue that their products or services are not suitable for e-commerce, with 21 percent arguing that their customers do not expect them to start selling their products or services online.
