Yulchon, a Korean manufacturer of cold-drawn carbon steel tubes, is to build a factory in the Legnica Special Economic Zone (LSSE) at the cost of more than PLN100m. The facility, Yulchon’s first factory in Europe, is to create at least 166 jobs, with production starting in Q1, 2025. Commenting on the investment, LSSE’s CEO Przemysław Bożek notes that the automotive industry prevails in the LSSE’s impact area. “We are not slowing down and we are establishing cooperation with more companies that will contribute to the development of this sector,” he adds.
