Kazakhstan, Russia to integrate agricultural information systemsKazakhstan and Russia are set to integrate their agricultural information systems to step up the traceability of agricultural goods.Following a meeting with Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev in Moscow, Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov expressed the intention to adopt Russia's successful grain traceability experience."The Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture aims to incorporate Russia's successful grain traceability experience into the ongoing development of our crop production traceability information system," Saparov said.The plan involves integrating Kazakhstan's Unified Automated Management System for the Agro-Industrial Complex Sector, E-agriculture, with Russian systems, Argus-Fito (registration of phytosanitary document) and Mercury (automated system for monitoring live animals and animal product traceability).This integration aims to enhance the efficiency of border control, simplify veterinary procedures, and remove export-import barriers.
