The past few years of “good change” have caused massive disruption in the Polish furniture industry as Polish timber was exported to China on a massive scale. Under such circumstances many furniture companies were buying timber in Germany as it was simply cheaper there. With rising labour costs on the one hand and increasingly expensive raw materials on the other, it is difficult to expect that the end product, i.e. furniture, can be cheap. (ICE VARSAVIA)
