The ORLEN Group has reported that in 2023 it received 62 shipments of liquefied natural gas at the Świnoujście terminal, four more than in 2022. As noted by the group, the volume of deliveries was ca. 4.66 million tonnes of LNG, which meant full utilisation of the reserve capacity at the Polish gas port. Finally, ORLEN said that since the launch of the Lech Kaczyński terminal in Świnoujście, 268 cargoes of liquefied natural gas had arrived at the gas port while in 2022, 58 deliveries were made with a total volume of 4.4 million tonnes of LNG, which was enough to meet ca. one third of domestic demand for that raw material.
