The Chief Inspectorate of Trade Quality of Agricultural and Food Products (IJHARS) reports that at the end of 2022, over 22.8 thousand farmers were involved in organic production. According to estimates, in 2023 the number of organic producers could exceed 24,000.The report published by the Inspectorate shows that the largest share in the production of organic crops in Poland is held by cereals and fruit, and the largest area of cultivation is taken up by feed plants, meadows and pastures.
