The Norwegian Ministry of Energy has approved PGNiG Norway, a unit of the ORLEN Group, as operator and partner with Horisont Energi in Polaris, the only CO2 storage located in the Barents Sea. Together with Horisont Energi, ORLEN will operate one of the most advanced CO2 storage projects in Norway. The ministry’s decision enables to develop new competences that will contribute to decarbonisation and that will boost the competitiveness of the most energy-intensive industries. (ICE VARSAVIA)
