The tender is open until February 15, and work should begin in the autumn.Hrvatske Autoceste has announced a tender for the construction of the Križišće - Selce section. It is a 17.5 kilometer section. The tender seeking a builder for a share worth 310 million euros is open until February 16. The works should start in the fall, first on the 5.2 kilometer long section Križišće - Jadranovo. The complete section from Križišće to Selc will take three years to build.The new section of the highway separates from the existing highway that leads towards Krk at the junction Križišće, and ends at the junction Selce. Two viaducts, a bridge and five tunnels will be built on the section. The total length of the tunnel will be 5.7 kilometers, while the total length of the buildings (viaducts and tunnels) will be 6.8 kilometers. So, almost 40 percent of the section will consist of tunnels, viaducts and a bridge. (ICE ZAGABRIA)
