The Polish Economic Institute (PIE) has reported that in 2023 the scale of foreign direct investments increased to ca. 3.9 percent of GDP, with the positive trend expected to continue this year too. The PIE adds that according to the balance of payments data compiled by the National Bank of Poland (NBP), during the first ten months of last year PLN113bn worth foreign direct investments were made in Poland. Although the figures for November and December 2023 are not available yet, foreign direct investments for full year 2023 are likely to total ca. PLN133bn. (ICE VARSAVIA)
