Oil production at Kashagan field has reached 100 mln tns -NCOCThe volume of oil produced at the Kashagan field since the start of production has reached 100 million tons, the press service of the North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC), the Operator of the North Caspian project, reported.“NCOC announces that it has reached another significant production milestone - 100 million tonnes of oil since the start of the Kashagan oil production,” the information says.Kashagan is Kazakhstan’s first offshore oil and gas field in the Caspian Sea. It is the largest international investment project in the country. Commercial operation at Kashagan began on November 1, 2016. The recoverable oil reserves of the Kashagan field are estimated to range between 9 and 13 billion barrels.The shareholders of the NCOC consortium are KMG Kashagan B.V. (16.877%), Shell Kazakhstan Development B.V. (16.807%), Total EP Kazakhstan (16.807%), AgipCaspian Sea B.V. (16.807%), ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc. (16.807%), CNPC Kazakhstan B.V. (8.333%) and Inpex NorthCaspian Sea Ltd. (7.563%). (ICE ALMATY)
