Dodo pizzeria chain redomiciles to KazakhstanThe board of directors of Dodo Brands, the Russian pizzeria chain, has approved the company's re-domiciliation to Kazakhstan, as stated by the company's financial director, Lina Naumova."We are pleased to inform you that on December 15, 2023, the board of directors approved the redomiciliation of the holding company from the British Virgin Islands (BVI) to the Astana International Financial Center (Republic of Kazakhstan). To finalize this decision, an absentee voting for shareholders will take place from January 10 to January 26, 2024,” Naumova said on the company’s telegram channel.This marks another instance of a Russian company choosing re-domiciliation to Kazakhstan. Earlier, silver producer and gold miner Polymetal, as well as retailer Fix Price, also underwent re-domiciliation.The first "Dodo Pizza" pizzeria was opened in Syktyvkar in 2011.
