The Polish Association of Pensioners and People with Disabilities, points out that demographic trends are unstoppable and Poland is already an ageing society while in several years’ time, it will be a society of old people. It is essential that the Ministry for Senior Policy drafts and pursues an appropriate senior policy that will address the needs of both seniors who are still active and would like to continue working, and those whose health is deteriorating and who need support and care.
