Kazakhstan’s trade with EAEU states dropped by 3 % in Jan-Nov 2023Kazakhstan’s trade with the states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) fell by 3% in January-November 2023 to make $25.741 billion compared with the same period of the previous year, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.In the reporting period, Kazakhstan’s exports to EARU countries grew by 10% to $9.905 billion, while imports declined by 9.7% to $15.837 billion.Sales turnover with Russia accounted for 91.6% of all Kazakhstan’s trade volume with the EAEU states, Kyrgyzstan - 5%, Belarus - 3.3% and Armenia - 0.2%.Kazakhstan’s exports to EAEU countries were dominated by machines, equipment, transportation means, instruments and devices (26.5%), followed by chemical and related industries products (26%), metals and metal articles (17.8%), mineral products (16.8%), products of animal and plant origin and ready to use food products (7.5%).The imports from the EAEU states consisted of food products (19.9%), metals and metal articles (19.3%), machines, equipment, instruments and devices (18.6%), chemical products (16.7%), mineral products (12.1%).
