The Minister attributed this shortfall to maintenance work at oil enterprises and the country's commitment to the OPEC+ deal.Kazakhstan committed to reducing oil production by 82,000 barrels per day from January to March 2024, and had earlier announced a voluntary reduction of 78,000 barrels per day in April 2023, lasting until December 2024.
