Agricultural output in Kazakhstan down 7.7% in 2023Kazakhstan's agricultural output fell 7.7% in 2023 to 8.7 trillion tenge, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.Meat and dairy production rose 3.3% to 4.3 trillion tenge and crop production fell 14.6% to 4.4 billion tenge.The number of cattle in Kazakhstan grew 0.8% to 8.609 million, horses 2.8% to 3.963 million, sheep 1.2% to 19.725 million, poultry 13.8% to 56.543 million and pigs 4.2% to 734,600, while the number of goats decreased by 7% to 2.14 million.
