The discussion covered potential areas of cooperation across various energy fields.The agreement is designed to establish a comprehensive framework for collaboration between the two nations to fulfil shared goals and interests. It encompasses promoting cooperation in diverse energy sectors, such as oil, gas, electricity, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and petrochemicals.Additionally, the agreement outlines provisions for advancing collaboration in the circular carbon economy, focusing on technologies to mitigate climate change effects, including carbon capture, reuse, transportation, storage, and the hydrogen sector.Furthermore, the agreement emphasizes the deepening of cooperation in digital transformation and innovation within the energy domain.
