Tokayev to hold Thursday talks with Italian president and prime ministerPresident of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Italy on an official visit, the presidential press service said in a Thursday statement.At the airport in Rome, the president was met by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto and representative of the Pope Francesco Canalini.On Thursday Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will hold talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, according to the statement.“On the same day, the head of state will take part in an investment conference Kazakhstan-Italy and will hold a number of meetings with the heads of large Italian companies,” the statement says.On January 19, Tokayev will have an audience with Pope Francis in the Vatican, according to the press service.
