PAYMENT BOTTLENECKS REMAIN A HURDLE
According to the latest data released by the National Debt Register (KRD), by the end of November 2023 corporate debt had increased by PLN1.1bn and consumer debt by PLN2.4bn, with average debt amounting to PLN36.6k and PLN20.3k respectively. The number of bankruptcies was record high in 2023 too, reaching 4,600 and a staggering 21,000 respectively. (ICE VARSAVIA)
