The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that the current consumer confidence indicator, which provides a synthetic description of the current trends in individual consumption, stands at -12.6 points in January 2024, which represents an increase by 2.6 points compared with December 2023 and which is the highest level since March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic began.
