The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) has revised its target to increase trade accounts to 100,000 this year, up from 49,000 registered as of the end of 2023. The revised target follows the listing of 23 companies, including 11 equity securities and 12 corporate bonds. As of January 19, the listed companies collected $379 million from the market. CSX plans to set up action plans, organize training courses, and create friendly investment mechanisms to increase investor confidence and awareness. The company has introduced a new trading mechanism and launched the Online Trading Account Opening Platform to attract more investors.
