German AMK Global GmbH to invest 140 mln euros to build waste processing plant in TarazThe German company AMK Global GmbH plans to build a waste processing plant in Taraz, investing 140 million euros in its construction, the press service of the akimat of the Zhambyl region reported.The plant's capacity is expected to be 500 tonnes per day. The enterprise will also have an automatic waste sorting line.“A gradual increase in capacity will make it possible to organize transportation and waste processing at the landfill,” the akimat notes.It is also planned to yeild the by-products such as oxygen, nitrogen, compost, carbon fiber and clean aviation fuel.“The waste recycling plant is a very important facility. We strongly support projects aimed at protecting the environment. Now it is important to move from discussion to specific actions. City authorities and relevant departments, in close cooperation with the company, will study the project and provide full support,” the Akim of the region Erbol Karashukeyev said. (ICE ALMATY)
