The Lebanese restaurant chain “Al Safadi” has recently begun work on its new Central Kitchen Project in theUnited Arab Emirates (UAE). The project is situated in the Dubai Production City on a 6,000 m2 plot of land.The land will house a 5,000 m2 two-floor facility equipped with state-of-the-art kitchen technology. The maincontract of the project was awarded to Span Construct and is set to be completed by March 2025.  The Central Kitchen will feature dedicated spaces for the preparation of semi-finished goods, expansive storage  and cold rooms. Additionally, the facility will house a comprehensive training center for kitchen and service staff,  a Research & Development and testing kitchen as well as a quality control lab, management headquarters and  a call center.  Once fully operational in the second quarter of 2025, the new central kitchen is expected to expand catering  services five folds with a forecasted output capacity of circa 15,000 meals/day. The new Central Kitchen will not  only cater to existing Al Safadi branches but also support upcoming restaurant concepts, catering services, retail  ventures and wholesale businesses operating under the management of Al Safadi Group.  According to the CEO of Al Safadi, this step is expected to positively affect efficiency and quality.
