PKO BP has reported that in 2024, Poles may be more motivated to start the construction of single-family houses as zoning regulations have changed, in particular in the scope of issuing zoning approvals, while prices of building materials have stabilised. According to Poland’s largest bank, other incentives to build a house include a new EU deal on energy and homes, which stipulates that new buildings in the EU must have no emissions from fossil fuels by 2030, and benefits for multi-person households in a new scheme of state-subsidised housing loans that is to be rolled out later this year.
