MISK ISSUES INDIGO HOTEL AND APARTMENTS TENDER

Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (Misk Foundation) has invited companies to bid for a contract to construct the Indigo hotel and serviced apartments at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City in Riyadh. The tender was issued in December, and the last date for bid submission has been extended to 28 February. The project involves the construction of a five-storey hotel building featuring 234 rooms and 138 serviced apartments. Dubai-headquartered Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) is the project consultant. UK-based hospitality company IHG Hotels & Resorts will operate the property. The project is slated for completion in 2025. In January,  the Misk Foundation had awarded an estimated $478m contract to Dubai-based Alec Engineering & Contracting to build the Ilmi Science & Technology Centre at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City. The contract covers the construction of the 27,000 square-metre educational centre. Candian firms WSP and AtkinsRealis are the project consultants.  (ICE RIYADH)
