ARAMCO ALLOWS MORE TIME FOR MANIFA OFFSHORE BIDS

Saudi Aramco has given contractors more time to prepare bids for two major tenders covering the installation of structures at the Manifa offshore oil and gas field in Saudi Arabia. Aramco issued the tenders, which sit as numbers 102 and 103 in its Contracts Release & Purchase Order (CRPO) system, last February. Entities in Aramco’s Long-Term Agreement (LTA) pool of offshore service providers now have until 15 February to submit bids for CRPO 102 and CRPO 103, according to sources. This is the latest in a series of extensions to the bid submission deadline by Aramco. The scope of work on CRPO 102, estimated to be worth $1bn, involves engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of water injection facilities, a tie-in platform and 10 production deck modules (PDMs). CRPO 103 also relates to the EPCI of offshore units at the Manifa field development. The scope of work on CRPO 103, also understood to be worth around $1bn, involves the EPCI of 16 PDMs to maintain output for Arab Heavy oil from the Manifa field. Aramco’s LTA pool of offshore service providers comprises the following entities: Saipem (Italy) McDermott International (US) Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering (India) / Subsea 7 (UK) Dynamic Industries (US) National Petroleum Construction Company (UAE) Lamprell (UAE/UK) / Royal Boskalis Westminster (Netherlands) Sapura Energy (Malaysia) Technip Energies (France) / MMHE (Malaysia) China Offshore Oil Engineering Company (China) Hyundai Heavy Industries (South Korea)  (ICE RIYADH)
