Cambodia and Thailand's Prime Ministers will meet in Bangkok to discuss boosting bilateral trade, facilitating goods transport, and removing barriers between the two countries. Thailand is Cambodia's second-largest trade partner in ASEAN, with a trade turnover of $3.71 billion in 2023. Prime Minister Hun Manet will visit Thailand at the invitation of his Thai counterpart, Srettha Thavisin. They will hold talks on bilateral and multilateral cooperation, sign documents on cooperation, and deliver opening remarks at a Cambodia-Thailand Business Forum. Both countries agreed to increase bilateral trade and upgrade border checkpoints and rail links. Bilateral trade between the two countries has increased since 2015, reaching $1.83 billion.
