NIELSENIQ: POLES ARE INCREASINGLY WILLING TO BUY MORE EXPENSIVE WINES

In 2023, in value terms, the wine market grew by 7.3% to almost PLN 4.6 billion - according to the latest NielsenIQ data. However, purchases decreased by 1.2%.The study shows that Poles are increasingly willing to reach for premium wines, i.e. in the price range of PLN 30-49 (7-11 euro ca.). Dry wines (white and rose) are popular and have recorded a double-digit increase in sales. Sales of dessert wines decreased by over 10%.  Aromatized and fruit wines recorded a decline by approximately 3%. (ICE VARSAVIA)
