Byggfakta Group, a leading software and information company within the construction industry, has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in Marketplanet, Poland’s leading eSourcing and eProcurement company, from Avallon for, according to unofficial sources, ca. EUR12m. Commenting on the deal, Piotr Matysik, CEO at Marketplanet, notes that the Board looked for an investor with an in-depth knowledge of procurement, which it managed to achieve as Byggfakta operates both on the public and commercial markets.
