Royal Group Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. (RGPPSP) has reported a nearly four-fold increase in annual net profits for 2023 compared to 2022, according to a Cambodia Stock Exchange (CSX) filing. The rise in profits is attributed to strong revenue growth and recent investments by the Royal Group of Companies. The company's net profit increased 3.7 times for the 12-month period ending December 31, 2023, resulting in a year total of $7.9 million. The SEZ's revenue improved 136 percent year-on-year, from $26.3 million in 2022 to $62 million in 2023. However, the fourth financial quarter saw a 42.6 percent drop in net profit, citing a $103,904 profit compared to $180,995 in the same period of 2022. Despite this, the zone still recorded an expanded quarterly revenue of $5.9 million, a 68.2 percent increase compared to the previous year.
