RIYADH TENDERS AN-NADHEEM NEIGHBOURHOOD WORK

Saudi Arabia’s Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has issued a tender notice for contractors inviting them to bid for a landscaping and irrigation construction contract in the An-Nadheem neighbourhood of Riyadh. The scope of the contract includes the execution of landscaping for neighbourhood open spaces and streets within the An-Nadheem neighbourhood. These include the new neighbourhood parks, empty plots, parking spaces and development of open spaces around public buildings such as mosques, schools, medical facilities, and colleges. The scope also covers the construction of tertiary irrigation water infrastructure system, which will be connected to the under-development, city-wide Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) distribution system. The tender for the main contract was issued on 21 December. The last date for bid submission is 3 March. The construction period is two years from the start date of construction. France-headquartered consultancy Egis is providing programme management and technical support services for the implementation of Green Riyadh, while the UK's Cracknell is the landscape architect for the scheme. Afforestation plans for Green Riyadh include the development of 1,100km of green belts along utilities lines, 272km of valleys, 3,300 neighbourhood gardens and 43 parks across 117 neighbourhoods. The driver of the strategy is to increase the liveability of the city in order to increase the health and wellbeing of citizens.   For registration as supplier: https://projectsuppliers.net/en/approvals/royal-commission-riyadh-city-rcrc (ICE RIYADH)
