Kazakhstan to build over 200 schools in 2024As many as 208 schools will have been built in Kazakhstan by the end of 2024, Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev said.“Samruk-Kazyna Construction started last year the designing and construction of 208 schools. The administrations of Astana and Almaty are going to buy 9 schools from private developers this year. According to preliminary information, as many as 98 schools will be put into operation before the start of the academic year [or by September 1] and the other 110 schools will be commissioned by the end of this year," Beisembayev said at a Tuesday meeting of the government.In accordance with the national project Comfortable School, Kazakhstan will build 369 schools in 2024-2025 to accommodate 740,000 students, including 163 schools in rural areas, the minister added.
