Saudi Arabia’s Neom is preparing to award the staff and contractors’ camp facilities in its Trojena development in Tabuk Province by March. The contracts cover the construction of workers’ accommodation facilities at Camp Four and Camp Two. The bid evaluation process is nearing completion, and the projects are expected to be awarded within a month. The contract scope covers design, construction and operation works for the projects, including constructing roads, utilities, offices and associated facilities. In November, Neom selected the local contractor Mofarreh Al Harbi & Partners Company as the main contractor for its north and south base camps package in Tabuk Province. The project is understood to have a plot size of about 314,000 square metres. The expected completion date is June 2024. The package was tendered in 2022. Lebanese consulting firm Dar al-Handasah is the project consultant. In 2021, local contractor Nesma & Partners was selected to deliver the base camp in Neom.
