OVER SIXTY EGYPTIAN COMPANIES HOLD B2B MEETINGS WITH THEIR LIBYAN COUNTERPARTS

Over sixty Egyptian companies held B2B meetings on Monday with their Libyan counterparts in Tripoli.The meetings were hosted by the Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in the presence of the Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Saad Al-Hanish, the Chairman of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raied, and the Chairman of the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Anwar Abu Sitta, the Ambassador of Egypt to Libya, Tamer Mustafa, and Mai Halim, Executive Director of the Export Council for Engineering Industries, affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade.The Egyptian delegation ‘‘is the first and largest to visit Libya for many years’’ the president of the Libyan General Union said, and the general and bilateral meetings held between the two sides witnessed the presentation of investment opportunities and the exchange of information about local activities in the trade and investment sectors. The Libyan and Egyptian companies participating specialized in fields of manufacturing electrical, household, and plastic materials, agricultural machinery and their spare parts, and construction and contracting.
