Ministry of Ecology proposes to eliminate monopoly in disposal of vehicles, self-propelled equipment The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, together with Zhasyl Damu JSC, has developed a new program for the disposal of vehicles and self-propelled agricultural machinery, the ministry said in a statement.“All business entities engaged in the processing of ferrous metal will be able to take part in the program. It will not be a monopoly of one enterprise. The payment for processing of an old car will be the extracted raw materials,” the message says.Owners of old cars will be offered a discount certificate, the value of which will be determined in accordance with the established procedure.Currently, the draft rules have been developed and are in the process of approval, the ministry said.
