Aspen Aerogels, conferma investimento pari a 270 milioni di dollari Nuevo León continues as the epicenter of investments related to electromobility in Mexico, with the recent inauguration of two plants of the American company Aspen Aerogels in the municipality of Apodaca.The plants will manufacture components used in the assembly of batteries for electric cars, and $270 million dollars were invested in them, which contributes to the positioning of the state as an electromobility hub in North America. Between both plants, 1,000 new jobs will be created.The company is originally from Marlborough, Massachusetts and is considered a leader in sustainability for the use of the material called Airgel, which allows the operation and greater efficiency of electric car batteries.
