The markets of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) still top the list of the most important trading partners and economic blocs in terms of the destination of national exports, with a value amounting to JOD3.078 billion last year. According to an analysis conducted by Al-Ghad on the latest foreign trade figures, GAFTA countries accounted for 37% of total national exports during the past year, which amounted to JOD8.272 billion, compared to JOD8.366, which is a decline of 1.1%.
