Indonesia's Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, discussed the Joint Finance and Health Task Force (JFHTF) with European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni during a series of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meetings in São Paulo, Brazil. The JFHTF was formed to mitigate the threat of future pandemics. Sri Mulyani hopes that Paolo, as a representative from the European Union, can support this year's JFHTF initiative led by Indonesia and Italy. The two also discussed bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and the European Union, particularly in international trade. Sri Mulyani expressed hope that the well-developed cooperation can continue to provide even more benefits. In addition to these meetings, Sri Mulyani held meetings with other parties, including Treasurer of Australia Jim Chalmers, President of the World Bank Ajay Banga, and President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun.
