Meetings between Turkmen businessmen and representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) with the World Bank delegation, which arrived in the country on a working visit, were held in Ashgabat.The parties discussed the prospects for attracting foreign investment into the private sector of the Turkmen economy. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of implementing joint business projects in agriculture and the food industry.Representatives of the private sector of Turkmenistan involved in these industries noted the advisability of increasing mutually beneficial cooperation with international financial organizations.During the visit, the World Bank delegation visited newly established greenhouse complexes and horticultural farms of UIET members.
