Focus Telecom, which is engaged in the development and sale of software for multi-channel communication with customers, attracted a new investor in late 2023 as a majority stake in the company was acquired by MCI.Euroventures, the biggest fund from the MCI group. Daniel Szcześniewski, who became CEO at Focus Telecom following the acquisition, notes that the deal opened a new chapter in the company’s history as Focus is now transforming itself into a sales- and customer-oriented company. Szcześniewski also notes that Focus is not concerned about the impact of generative artificial intelligence as, for the time being, a human cannot be replaced by a bot without a noticeable loss of quality.
