Indonesia's investment landscape is a key driver of economic growth and sustainable development. Investment realization spread across five main sectors: basic metal industry, metal goods, non-machinery and equipment, transportation, warehouse and telecommunications, mining, housing, industrial and office areas, and chemical and pharmaceutical industries.In 2024, investment is expected to be higher at Rp 1.6 quadrillion. Indonesian investment is expanding into innovative sectors like information technology, renewable energy, and start-ups. Key sectors include infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and tourism.The energy sector has high investment potential due to Indonesia's large population and urbanization. Investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency is crucial for a sustainable and environmentally friendly supply. The manufacturing sector has immense market potential, with investment opportunities focusing on automotives, textiles, and footwear.Investment conditions in Indonesia have significant implications for increasing the country's economic competitiveness in the global market.
